GENDER-BALANCED LEADERSHIP
Leadership that Unites

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

To lead, one must unite, and not divide. This programme gathers women and men to build mutual understanding and maximize collaboration. Leveraging gender diversity is proven to boost profit by up to 27% (McKinsey) and our programme is an essential complement to leadership programmes that are positioned 'for women only'.

Throughout our programme, you will indeed learn how to build an inclusive workplace that leverages diversity. Strengthened with a fine understanding of yourself and others, you will also develop a Leadership Diversity Plan.

CONTENT HIGHLIGHTS

The programme engages both men and women in a safe environment where they can listen to each other, understand their different perspectives and build together the foundations for a more inclusive workplace.

The momentum is growing in three steps:

STEP 1 : EXPLORE BIASES AND THEIR IMPACT (one day)

Change is only possible when people understand what needs to change. Our programme therefore starts by building awareness of unconscious biases, their impact on our careers, and their impact on the innovation and profitability in organizations.

STEP 2 : APPRECIATE DIFFERENCES IN LEADERSHIP STYLES (one day)

We benefit from diversity when we appreciate the strengths of each and everyone. During this phase, we explore the sameness/differences between men and women's leadership styles and how they relate to what is expected from leaders in the workplace of the future. Based on this knowledge and on a personal leadership assessment, we reveal how you can learn form each other to become better leaders. The focus is set on interpersonal skills. Guided by coaches, participants design their own plan for growth, taking into account their true self. At this point, participants pair to learn from each other and exchange feedback.

STEP 3 : LEVERAGE STRENGTHS (two days)

The journey continues by leveraging a "head and heart" approach that leads to effective partnerships between women and men. During this phase, you test strategies and techniques to find common ground, build mutual trust, have courageous conversations and work successfully together.

The days are intense and each workshop is set a month apart to allow full integration of learnings.

In addition, there are 2 follow-up sessions, three and six months after the last group workshop, in order to share experiences, reflect on real-life job situations and challenges, and get additional tools and support where needed.

The programme also includes on-the-job assignments as homework and coaching by peers and by ZEST experts.

TESTIMONIALS - IMPACT
